Shukravar Vrat Katha is observed in many forms and for many benefits. It may be observed for the propitiation of the planet Shukra (Venus), and to ensure longevity of the son, peace of mind and harmony in the family. It is also observed in the honor of goddess of white raiment. It is a very popular fast, and is generally observed by the ladies to please Goddess Santoshi Mata. Santoshi Maa is another form of Durga. 

Worship procedure: Ganpati invocation mantra, Invocation mantras of all major deities, Dhyaan, Katha of Santoshi Maa, Aarti, Pushpaanjali, Prasadam.
Duration: 1.5 hours

Recommendations: Wear white clothes on this day. Not to eat or touch anything which is sour like curd, lemon etc.

If you opt for a DVD, we will upload it on a cloud link for you to download and watch online, within a week of your puja completion. If you don't opt for a DVD, we will email few short video clips and photos immediately upon successful completion of your ritual.
