Narayan Bali ritual is done to fulfill and satiate the unsatisfied desires of the ancestors souls which are trapped in our world due to strong desires that stay with the soul even after death and to get rid of their own pain they put forth household and realistic problems and thus trouble their progeny.

The Narayan Bali rite is performed in all cases of abnormal death, defined as follows; death by fasting, by animals, by arson, by a curse, by cholera or any disease, suicide, fall from a mountain, tree or any height, drowning, death by muggers or robbers, by snake bite, struck by lightning, murder.

Puja service includes: Pind worship starts from 4th day till 11th day, the place where the Puja is to be performed is covered with cow dung, Mandaap creation, bathing the deceased with gomutra, holy water, kriyas, 360 Pind pujan in sixteen ways, Gayatri mantra japa, Gopal saharsa, Vishnu sahsrannam, Vishnu mantra japa, Narayan Bali recitation from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM IST, feeding of cow/dog, 108 Pitra-Tarpan, 11 tarpans of last 3 ancestors, 51 Dev tarpan, 51 Rishi Tarpan, donation to Brahmins.

Eshwar Bhakti priests will perform your Puja as per the Vedic procedure. Please mention the Full Name of the deceased, date of death, Gotra (if you know), name of the last 3 ancestors (if you know) at checkout, and email us the photo of the deceased. This is an individual Puja (you may book puja only on your name or include your near/dear ones in your puja).

You can book this puja with or without a DVD. An hour-long DVD will have the main elements of your puja: Sankalpa, Abhishek or invocation mantras, presiding deity mantra chants, Homa and Aarti. If you opt for a DVD, we will upload it on a cloud link for you to download and watch online, within a week of your puja completion. If you don't opt for a DVD, we will email few short video clips and photos immediately upon successful completion of your ritual.
