The divine Shiv Parivar is the symbol of peace, harmony and a happy family. The divine family of Lord Shiva (Mahesh) includes Lord Shiva, his consort Goddess Parvati, the two sons, Lord Kartik (Murugan, Skanda and Subramaniyam) and Lord Ganesha (Ganapati, Pillaiyar and Vinayaka) and Nandi.

Lord Shiva is the father of complete universe. While, his consort Goddess Parvathi is the mother of the universe. Therefore, they are considered as the universal parents. Goddess Parvati is also known as the Mother Goddess; Gauri Jagadamba and she is another form of Maa Shakti. Maa Shakti symbolizes different virtues like: fertility, harmony, marital happiness, simplicity and power.

Shiva Parivar is the sansarik (worldly) form of Shiva. It shows Shiva as a family man. You can book this puja with or without a DVD. An hour-long DVD will have the main elements of your puja: Sankalpa, Abhishek or invocation mantras, presiding deity mantra chants, Homa and Aarti. If you opt for a DVD, we will upload it on a cloud link for you to download and watch online, within a week of your puja completion. If you don't opt for a DVD, we will email few short video clips and photos immediately upon successful completion of your ritual.
